Not the worst school in Charles County but it definitely isn't getting better. I wish they'd be more proactive at working with the parents, and stop focusing on predominantly African studies in history.

Benjamin Stoddert continues to peddle EBSCO's special brand of "school databases" at students - links directly through the pubic library from children's online school portals. Parents better wake up - 3 billion dollar, EBSCO at the center of a growing nation-wide scandal for its apparent role in marketing porn and sexual violence through K-12 "school databases". National Center on Sexual Exploitation named EBSCO to the 2017 Dirty Dozen List as a major contributor to the sexual exploitation of women and children. If parents don't demand accountability from this school, I predict there will be more violence. I'm glad that African history is the focus. That's where history began, if I'm not mistaken.
A school where you cannot reach out to the teachers and the Principal and need to have an "appointment" I am going to highly question the credibility of the staff where my child is bullied by a certain math teacher! Failing a gifted and talented child and NOT A WORD OF CAUTION SENT TO THE PARENT, NO INTERVENTION, NO NOTES SENT HOME, NOT INFORMED THROUGH REMIND APP, this is highly questionable and demoralising for the child who DREADS GOING TO THIS SCHOOL NOW! My child who excelled in math now hates the subject! I will be taking this up with the Board of Education.
