I am very pleased with St. Peter's School! My oldest daughter attended and now my youngest has been attending since she was in Pre-K (she is now a 7th grade student). It is rewarding to know my child is receiving a quality education and I know she is safe every day she enters the building. The staff are amazing individuals and the atmosphere is truly a "family" environment. I would definitely recommend St. Peter's with "5" stars to any parent who is looking for a quality education for their child(ren).
This is our son’s first year at this school. Both academically and socially our son is performing well above average. The teachers are seasoned and professional and in tune with all the children’s needs. What can I tell you about my son’s education? That he is actually learning and developing, that he receives relevant homework every day, takes tests, quizzes and has creative projects to reinforce all that is being taught. Along with a standard curriculum, he also has music, art, sports, and there is a STEM program! Yes, we highly recommend this school – we are impressed with our son’s work ethic and his drive to succeed. Our only regret is that we did not know about this school sooner, (our son just transferred to St Peter’s this year to the 4th grade). St Peter’s is the best choice you can make for your child’s education.
We have been very pleased with our daughter's education at St. Peter's School. Every year I always think "wow this can't get any better" and it does! The teachers are exemplary, and the administration is approachable and truly care about the children's education. The children are encouraged to grow socially, morally, and academically. I appreciate that my daughter is held accountable and responsible for her goal acquisition. As a parent, I am encouraged, not required, to volunteer and be active in the school and there is no judgement nor am I treated differently if I cannot help for a certain event. I also like that fundraising ventures are well thought out and kept at a minimum. I chose St. Peter's 4 years ago and it was one of the best decisions as a parent I have ever made.
Hands down St. Peters School is the BEST school in Charles County. As a parent we want the best for our children and foundation, morals and values are very important. As working adults we spend 40 plus hours at work, which is a lot of time away from our little ones. It is very imperative that the private school our children attend will reinforce what is being taught at home. At times we as parents have very high standards and as I was researching private schools I was obviously convinced that I wouldn’t be able to find a school that would meet my standards. That was until I came across the website and education blog sites that rated St. Peters School 5 stars. I began to follow St. Peters School for 4 years. My husband and I registered for the open house and we were filled with joy that we attended with the children. I must admit St. Peters School has maintained excellence as I began to observe my daughter experience coming home and telling me about her day and the bible story taught for the week, an excellent education curriculum overall in ALL grades, dedicated staff that actually cares about every child and the commitment each staff member portray at all times, diversity (inclusion & culture), family environment, security (knowing that I can trust this school that all children including my child will ALWAYS BE PROTECTED), school wide community projects in providing support to orphanages and etc., and most importantly the involvement of the parents. After Care & Before Care is awesome!
We enrolled our second grader and pre-K boys this year and are extremely pleased with our decision. The school has taught them so much in only 6 weeks already. My second grader is challenged everyday in reading math and science. My pre-k talks to me about respect and daily lessons that they learn about. The staff is very helpful, humble, and caring, and the teachers are great at communicating to the parents.
