Great place and very knowledgeable sales staff and parts center. Never found a better price on John Deere equipment anywhere else. Dean really has helped me out, getting what I needed.
Our experience with Gardiner has been both excellent and disappointing at times. Some of the staff is great and go out of their way to help (sales, parts). Others are less than helpful and make you feel like they are doing you a favor by interacting with you (repairs, parts). The bad experience we had was getting a piece of equipment serviced. It was 1 month before they could even pick it up, and then it took an additional THREE MONTHS to receive the machine back. This was despite numerous calls after the first couple of weeks to check on their progress. When they finally did do the work, it was obviously rushed but adequate, ... but that's about it. Never did they try to do more to make up for the situation or even ask if there was a way to help make us satisfied with the service. (Returning the equipment cleaned up would have been nice. Or perhaps waiving the transport fee. A small discount on the repair to make up for the long wait. Anything.) We have quite a bit of John Deere and Stihl equipment and will never again use their repair shop. And will likely take our parts and purchase dollars elsewhere as well, based on this poor service.
