I did the pay online pick up in store. They didn't have one of the items selected and helped me find something very similar. They also helped me carry my items in the car, and offered to help with my project. Everyone was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable.

Terrible customer service. Way too much time spent on the phone, on hold, with no way to speak to anyone unless they finally answer the phone (which is like 20% of the time), and unreliable information amongst employees and management. If I had other options I’d pursue them, but Home Depot is one of the only options available to our area.

My experience thus far with this store has been terrible. We're building a new house and have been buying some items at Lowes and others at Home Depot due to availability. We attempted to order a chandelier that was an online order in-store so we could get our 10% military discount and the store was "unable to help me." Seriously I just drove 45 minutes to your store and showed you my ID card in-person, but the store employee was unable to place the order. The manager was no help and basically blew me off. I had to call customer service to find out that Home Depot had temporarily stopped giving military discounts on online orders due to people taking advantage even if you ordered them in-person with a store employee.

Please help me with this matter.

We’ve also been trying to get some installation service quotes to compare with other local hardware stores. It is not convenient for us to drive up there just to schedule a measure considering they just pass your info along to the installation company who then schedules the appointment. So I'm forced to sit on the phone waiting for the different departments to answer. I was able to get a hold of the blinds department relatively easily and they took my credit card info over the phone to arrange for the install appointment. When I attempted to do the same for windows and doors, I spent several days on and off the phone just trying to get someone to answer the phone in that department, each time just giving up in frustration. When I finally could get someone on the phone, it was customer service who just keep transferring me back to the same department and did nothing to help me get a hold of anyone. I finally gave up and asked to speak to a manager who told me they don’t arrange for measurement appointments over the phone and that I had to come into the store. I explained to him I lived 45 minutes away and that the other department had happily taken my info for the appointment over the phone. He explained that was incorrect and they shouldn’t have done that. He offered the option of making the appointment online, but gave me no instructions on how to do it so I basically just gave up.

Will never shop there again! We drove 30 miles to buy more tile in Waldorf, MD only to be told they would not honor their own online price! The ad even states they will ship it to the store if it isn't in stock. The manager was rather indignant. His response was to order it online. Great job Home Depot! You just lost a customer. Lowe's would never do that!!

This is specifically for the visit today. The customer service was outstanding. They made sure that the product I was buying would work with what I already had. There are many other stores within 20 miles of where I am that I have gone to but the staff at this one actually cared enough to ask if I needed help and then were actually able to help.

Is very sad that I went to the store to purchase a gas chainsaw and the employee told me that is faster when you purchase to pick up at the store and that I will receive a email or text to let me know when the merchandise will be available to be pick up at the store. My husband receive an email let in us know that the merchandise was at store for us ro pick up, we call and an employee from customer service let us know that will be at store for us to pick up the 26 of December. I call today the 28 to make sure is there and Customer service said that is not there because Holidays. I purchased the chainsaw 2weeks ago for me to mailed to my family in Puerto Rico cause 2 trees fall in top of there house and they don't have any equipment to cut the trees. I need to send this item as soon as possible I have a 90 year old father with Alzheimer in that house. Never will order again at Home Depot. Still waiting for my Chain saw.
