This use to be one of my favorite laundry mats in Waldorf. I've been coming here for 6 years and the original owner was very polite and nice and always kept it clean. Unfortunately he sold the business to one of his relatives I believe and it has been horrible since, half of the machines are out of order. There has been a machine that has caught on fire and wasnt fully repaired. My experience was that I used #79 dryer to dry me and my daughter clothes after they had been washed on June 23rd and the machine #79 had my clothes smelling like smoke. I informed the lady on staff at the laundry mat and she told me she can pay for me to rewash but not dry. I was livid and mention to her that it was unacceptable and my daughter has asthma and your management has dust all on the ceiling fans, holes in the wall, and dryers burning clothes and catching on fire. This is an unsafe and unsanitary environment for customers, and staff to work in. Children and adults with asthma can have flare ups from this type of atmosphere. Yesterday was the final straw for me and I will never return due to the poor management.
I come from the Clinton area and pass several other laundromats to come here because it is clean and quiet. I have never had a problem, however today was my last visit. I used a large washing machine, however the cold water didnt work. Not only would the attendant NOT refund my money so I could use another machine, she was unable to open the defective machine. I had to let the clothes go through the whole 26 minute wash cycle without any water then move them to another machine, pay an additional 22 quarters to actually wash my clothes. This is a horrible business practice and Grand has lost a customer that has been coming here for the last three years or so.
Attitude Problems
They machines never work and the people are so lazy meaning the spanish woman who they hire to take care of the laundry
Plenty of washers and dryers. Only problem was the aisles are tiny but not a problem if you don't mind sitting in your car. Big parking lot with convenience to shopping and food while you wait
