The Mr. Tire shops in MD in both oxenhill and waldorf have been the worst experiences at a mechanic I have ever had. I needed a tire changed, and I ended up going to 3 different mr. Tire shops. One suggested a 3 hour wait, one did not have my size tire and another, the last, required a 2 hour wait. I wait for 2 hours since the tire that I needed to replace (one that had a slow leak) was actually from a mr. Tire. It would be the only Tire with a leak that I have had in quite some time. After the two hour wait, I go up to the clerk, only to be told that I would have to wait an additional hour. Dude at the front desk tells me he will call once the tire is ready. Given that I cannot waste any more of my day on this I decide to head home. 5 hours later, no call. I call the location, and I am told that the tire has been ready for quite some time. But the clerk tells me the shop is closing in 15 minutes, which was an hour and 15 minutes earlier than the closing time posted on their website. So after it is all said and done, it would have taken trips to 3 different mr tire locations and over 24 hours to repair a single tire on a carolla. Any other mechanic I would have gone to would have been an hour at most. Mr. Tire has to be the worst chain mechanic shop I have ever used and will no longer be using again. This is the first review I have ever written. The irony in the name of this chain is classic.
