I 100% recommend this animal hospital to anyone who finds themselves in a dire situation such as this. I credit the practicing veterinary working on Christmas day for saving her life.
The next morning, the vet realized that there was not much else that they could do for my dachshund. She needed to see a specialist and get into an neurological emergency hospital right away to provide better treatment options. The vet located the nearest practice, called them, and got my dog in immediately under emergency care. He stabilized her for the 30 minute ride and we got her there immediately. Before we left, he came out to wish us luck and wanted to hear updates on my dog's condition when it was available. It was evident that he didn't want us to give up on her.
First time ever going to an emergency care and I must say the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. The staff was great. From the beginning to the end. I felt better about my pups experience than I have ever had going to the hospital for my kids. They were kind courteous and very knowledgeable. I walked in nervous and left out smiling. They really care about making sure they give the best service possible. I would recommend them to everyone.
Brought my dog in with an absolute emergency...I immediately notice how clean the place was, attentive staff...incredible set of doctors on staff...I'm 100% positive they saved my dogs life...I reccomnd this place to all in dire need of some care for your pets...amazing clinic with amazing people.
The vet made a grave diagnosis, was able to stop the bleeding to the wound, stabilized her vitals, and immediately put her on oxygen to assist in the healing process. He really cared about her health and it really showed when he came to talk to us.
Everyone was awesome and caring. Dr Fox treated our dog late Sunday night and took the time in ensure we understood the problem, the possible treatments, risks and costs while insuring Shadow was comfortable. All of the techs were loving and caring and went out of their way to comfort Shadow and us in a stressful time. First vet Shadow is not scared to go to, she goes through the doors willingly.
This was the closest emergency vet that was open from our location so we immediately took her in. The staff immediately realized the seriousness of the injury and took her back to the vet as soon as we walked through the door.
My mini dachshund was attacked on Christmas day and received a large bite to her head. An MRI showed that the bite cracked her skull, damaged part of her cerebellum which controls coordination, and had blood running through the right side of her brain.
We love this place! One phone call & we were in the door with no issues! Our Old English Bulldogge is currently staying here as we speak. She decided she was going get get a toy lodged in her tummy. After taking her to Helping Hands in Richmond to get surgery they recommended a 24 hour after care, so we found this place. One step in the door & it was a sigh of relief! This place was extremely clean & didn't have an odor of wet dog like most places. The entire staff that has been taking care of our girl has been absolutely amazing. The prices are extremely fair as well. We had such a run around with our fur baby but Dr. Fox took care of everything right away. Dr. Fox is wonderful, he is so compassionate about his job & that's such a warm feeling. I highly recommend this veterinarian!
