Nice hotel. At the time of posting this the pool is out of order so we were told to use the one across the street. No smart TV. Sucks but still a nice quiet spot to relax at.
I’m a club member and have stayed at the Andrews Air Force Base location and Virginia Beach location. This was my first and last time staying at the Waldorf location. First off I booked the Waldorf location for the ease of access and the pool and hot tub. Wanted to pay in cash, which I never had an issue with doing at any other location. Therefore, I removed the cash from my bank account and went to check in. The girl that helped me told me I had to pay an extra $50 if I wanted to pay in cash, which would have been returned at check out. But if I used my card it would have just been the regular rate. I then had to go back to the bank to put the money back into my account. Returned to do check in. Was given a room on the ground floor. Now remind you I wanted this hotel for the pool. The young lady never told us which way to go to the room nor did she mention anything about the pool. As we are walking towards the room we notice that the pool was out of order. And there is a strong smell of mold lingering in the halls. Not only is the smell in the hall but also in the room 205. The housekeeper told us to check the bed before we got in. Why in the hell should we have to pull the sheets back and check the beds? Not to mention the way the room looks. So out dated, mold in the bathroom that you can tell had water damage before. They just tried to cover it with patch Work. You have drug dealers hanging outside and walking the halls like it’s nothing. The best part about the stay was the waffles, that I was able to make myself. When it came down to breakfast, my boyfriend said it reminded him of jail. Said what we got was something that they serve inmates. I was very dissatisfied with this location. It do not represent country inn and suites at all. Like the saying goes you get what you pay for. It was very cheap to stay, and the hotel represented as such. A CHEAP MOTEL WITH NO VALUE!! I don’t want to give any stars but, apparently I have to give at least one to post. Oh yea forgot to mention, the website says WiFi is offered. There is no WiFi at this location what so ever. This website has so much false advertisement. Once again I will never stay at this location again.
Staff were very nice and tried to be helpful.
The rooms rug was so dirty, stained that I was afraid to walk on it without shoes. House keeping was good not much they could do. All the furniture was so short that I think it was only fit for someone 4 feet tall including the commode. I'm barely 5'5" and sitting on the commode my knee were above my rump. When trying to leave the building, from the third floor the elevator was brooken. The desk did offer help carrying suit cases down. Would I stay here again, no!
The room was very clean. Staff was super nice and very helpful. We arrived early and the staff made accommodations to get a us a room. Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was good.
Very nice hotel. Has a nice indoor pool awesome breakfast computer room with printer small exercise room and free cookies and coffee! Great place for a decent price.
