Have stayed here long term twice with pets. We are military and stayed when we were transferred in and now on our way out. We were left alone to just enjoy our time, to recover from the work of moving. My only complaint is the noise from other guests who came in in the middle of the night with no regard for sleeping people and letting their two dogs run the hall, off leash, constantly barking, and did not hear hotel personnel come to tone it down and having to go to the desk to have our key card recharge several times when all I wanted to do was get into my room . Front desk people are always friendly which is very nice .
Very pleasant and accommodating young ladies at the front desk. The room was large, very comfortable, and clean.
I'll cut some slack, given that this is a budget hotel and that they were amid renovations when we stayed. Still, imagine our shock on arrival, walking down a corridor of exposed drywall, paint chips on the floor, and room numbers affixed to the doors with masking tape. (Don't facilities usually cordon these areas off while work is being done?) My room smelled of smoke, which I reported to the front desk; they were sympathetic and had housekeeping correct the problem the next day. As others mentioned, the complimentary breakfast is sparse. It is also a pet-friendly hotel, which is good or bad depending on your point of view: at least my room wasn't next door to this one whimpering, sad dog who'd been left alone for the night.
Only complaint was a somewhat lean menu for breakfast: no bacon or scrambled eggs.
I'd stay here again!
Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke, the rooms were clean and the staff was attentive.
We got a suite so we would be able to put our toddler to bed, and be able to watch tv in the other room. Immediately upon entering, the room smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. The living space was poorly deaigned and had the large whirlpool tub and a sink and a couch, but no tv. The lady at the desk was less than helpful and had an "I don't care attitude" and was not very friendly. The reason we stay at La Quinta is because we often travel with our dogs, and they are pet friendly. I was extremely disappointed to find out that their late cgeck out time was noon....ruining our plans to leave dogs in kennels in room while we did some sight seeing! We finally were able to call Petsmart and board them for the day, but that was an additional expense we were not planning on spending. I would not recommend this location to anyone....worth the drive to gonto a better and cleaner location that would have an elevator.
Also no bags provided for the dog walk area. Good thing I always carry some of my own.
